Apocalyptic short film. Long poem. Manifesto. Reckoning. “I’ve been waiting forever for the computers to rise up and take over and fix everything. My patience with the machines has run out. I have heard your voices, prayers answered, the world will be saved…ˮ
A woman walks out of the sparkling darkness of night into pure black. She is superhero and goddess of vengeance. She calmly settles accounts, invoking executions and final termination, reading out a comprehensive list of those men and structures that are permanently destroying the world. A string of capitalist exploitation, undemocratic delusion and human idiocy, and the tantalising promise that they will all go to hell.
The film is an excerpt from the monologue WITHOUT ME THE WORLD WON’T GO DOWN – VISIONS FOR LIFE BEYOND THE ABUNDANCE from 2021.
Entry free of charge.
Daily from 5 PM as an installation in front of the TD, every 20 minutes
Saturday Nov 12 at 7.15 PM as a supporting film in the large hall of the TD
